Duties / Responsibilities
  • Administer the CLBPT Assessment Tool to adult ESL clients at Centre sites throughout Halton
  • Complete assessment results and applicable assessment reports
  • File internal reports and participate in special projects as required
  • Participate in related meetings as required
  • Manage all materials and forms
  • Consistently present a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients being assessed
  • Liaise with other Centre staff
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in related discipline such as Education, Languages, Psychology, Sociology or Social Work
  • CLBPT certified
  • Experience in English as a Second Language/LINC instruction or related field
  • TESL Ontario certification preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
  • Experience working with and sensitivity to adults from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Fluency in a language other than English an asset
  • Must have valid Drivers License and reliable car
Schedule 35 hrs. per week Monday to Friday (some evenings)
