| Duties / Responsibilities |
RESPONSIBILITIES:The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Having some understanding of case management systems - Obtaining information and preparing reports or case histories on clients. - Appraising client’s needs or eligibility for specific services. - Liaising with other social agencies and health care providers involved with clients. - Maintaining program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research. - Job task planning and organizing. - Administrative, office and housekeeping activities. |
| Requirements / Qualifications |
QUALIFICATIONS:The successful candidate shall: - Have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with some human services training. - Have at least one years experience with an at risk population. - Pass a police security check with a Position of Trust and an Intervention Check at the candidate’s expense. - Have an Emergency First Aid Certificate. - Have understanding and some experience of the case management system - Have the ability to interact with community resources and health care professionals - Maintain statistics and prepare monthly reports - Have problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills. - Have good oral and written communication skills. - Be able to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure. - Have the ability to work with street involved adults in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner and willing to support the Mission of The Salvation Army |
